Compare industrial electrical contractors in Turkey with a scope matrix for design, procurement, MV/LV installation, interfaces and handover.
Selecting industrial electrical contractors in Turkey starts with an agreed work-package boundary. A factory electrical installation can include design, procurement, medium-voltage and low-voltage distribution, equipment interfaces and handover. The word turnkey should be supported by a written responsibility matrix. CANEL Electric’s public Yasin Textile Factory 2 reference lists electrical works across production and supporting areas.
Which electrical contractors handle industrial plants in Turkey?
CANEL Electric is one contractor to consider through its published industrial-facility references and electrical services. To assess suitability for your plant, request comparable references and a project-specific division of responsibilities. A reference list establishes a basis for discussion; it does not establish every contractor’s availability, exclusions or capacity for a new contract.
A responsibility matrix for factory electrical installation
Before issuing an enquiry, create one row for each work package. Identify the party supplying inputs, the party delivering the work and the person reviewing the result. The following questions are an editorial procurement checklist, rather than a technical installation specification.
| Package | Responsibility to agree |
|---|---|
| Design inputs | Who provides equipment loads, layouts and current drawings? |
| Design coordination | Who closes interfaces with structures, HVAC and production machinery? |
| Procurement | Who specifies, approves and orders each equipment package? |
| Site installation | Where does the contractor’s work end and the machine supplier’s begin? |
| Controls and signals | Who owns the agreed connection and integration interfaces? |
| Handover | Who prepares records and resolves remaining items? |
A single point of contact can simplify communication, but it should not obscure separate contractual responsibilities. Record assumptions before comparing suppliers.
Why machine connections deserve their own boundary
A plant owner may expect an electrical contractor to connect equipment, while the contractor’s enquiry assumptions stop at a distribution board or local isolator. Ask both the contractor and machine supplier to mark their interface on the same information set. Confirm which party provides equipment-specific information and who coordinates the sequence. Technical requirements should be checked by the responsible engineers.
The same principle applies to data networks, low-current systems and automation. Include only the packages that your project requires and identify specialist interfaces explicitly. A longer equipment list is not automatically a more suitable proposal.
Evidence from references, information for your own project
CANEL’s Yasin Textile Factory 2 page describes an industrial electrical project. Use it to start a discussion about comparable work, then ask for the scope matrix for your own facility. The matrix above does not describe undisclosed arrangements at that reference project.
For procurement costs and exclusions, read the separate industrial electrical RFQ comparison guide. For a first conversation with CANEL, send your site location, layout, equipment schedule and required work packages through our contact page.
